We Are All Star Stuff features 8 new tracks, nearly 80 minutes, of all new original long-form New-Age / Ambient / Chill / Space Music, that's just right for kickin' back and chillin'. In keeping with the "ambient" form, no drums were used in this production, and as a result, there is little, if any, discernible rhythm or beat. You know, Ambient / Space Music...
The title, "We Are All Star Stuff", is a quote from the famed Astronomer and the Author of the book, "COSMOS", (and the PBS series), the late, Carl "Billions and Billions" Sagen. He was suggesting that all of the matter in our Solar System, in the Universe, including each of the atoms that make up each of our bodies, was produced deep in the nuclear furnace of a distant star, somewhere.
All tracks were Composed, Arranged, Engineered, Produced, Mixed and Mastered by Chris Duffecy, at Pretend Music Studio, Citrus Springs, Florida, USA, between April and September, 2012. (Special thanks to Tom Moore for the Roland Triton Synthesizer track, that was the basis for "Starlight From The Sun".)
The Graphic Design, was done by C.J.D., as usual. The CD cover photo is of the Globular Cluster M80 (NGC 6093), and was taken by the Hubble Space Telescope/NASA.
A stellar collection of ethereal soundscapes, the music on We Are All Star Stuff will Fill the Space in your Mind. So, scroll down and click the PLAY buttons to preview each track, and click the "ADD TO CART" buttons to download, now!
